Warm Cinnamon Protein Custard with Stewed Pear
High-protein snack for GLP-1 nausea, built around high-protein milk, egg and vanilla whey protein isolate — sized for a smaller appetite.
Ingredients
- 200 ml high-protein milk
- 1 piece egg
- 15 g vanilla whey protein isolate
- 0.5 tsp vanilla extract
- 0.5 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp cornflour
- 150 g small pear — diced
- 2 tbsp water
Instructions
- Place the pear, water and cinnamon in a small saucepan and simmer for 5 minutes until soft.
- In a bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, protein powder, cornflour and vanilla.
- Pour into a saucepan over low heat.
- Stir continuously for 4–5 minutes until thickened. Do not boil.
- Spoon into a bowl and top with the warm pear.
