Constipation Snack High Protein
No-Bake Carrot Cake Protein Balls
High-protein snack for GLP-1 constipation, built around rolled oats, vanilla whey protein isolate and medium carrot — sized for a smaller appetite.
Ingredients
- 90 g rolled oats
- 50 g vanilla whey protein isolate
- 100 g medium carrot — finely grated
- 30 g natural almond butter
- 30 g smooth peanut butter
- 20 g ground flaxseed
- 10 g chia seeds
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 0.25 tsp ground ginger
- 1.5 tbsp water — if needed
Instructions
- Combine the oats, protein powder, flaxseed, chia seeds and spices in a large bowl.
- Add the grated carrot, nut butters, maple syrup and vanilla.
- Mix until a dough forms. If the mixture is dry, add water one tablespoon at a time.
- Roll into 12 equal-sized balls.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
